Reasons for Participating: I originally joined the Binghamton Sertoma Club while employed at a Sertoma Speech & Hearing Clinic (RSI), a longstanding Sertoma affiliate. I quickly saw the wonderful projects supported, the service provided to our local community and the camaraderie shared. It was an easy decision to continue maintaining club membership after changing employers.

Reasons for Participating: The Binghamton Sertoma Club is affiliated with the speech and hearing depts. of United Health Services Hospitals and provides financial support for our programs, servicing individuals with speech-language-cognitive-swallowing and/or hearing impairments from infancy to geriatrics.   I originally became involved with Sertoma because of this affiliation, but have enjoyed the fellowship among the group and the opportunity to support other community organizations, especially Camp Sertoma.

Reasons for Participating: I originally joined Sertoma because I wanted to volunteer my extra time to a worthwhile cause. Speech, and especially, Hearing problems seemed like a good cause for a musician to be involved in AND I was always interested in providing young children with ethics and opportunities; what better place than with Camp Sertoma, which is operated by the Binghamton Boys and Girls Club?
